I contacted Sarah to organise a surprise cake for a close friend, and as I live overseas and was coming back to visit, I really wanted to get the very best cake I could find.
Sarah was INCREDIBLE throughout the whole process, from my initial enquiry through to delivery. I cannot recommend her enough, not only was she very responsive, friendly, helpful and accommodating, but the cake itself was a MASTERPIECE both in how looked AND how it tasted (delicious!). She truly is an artist, and made what could have been a tricky process easy and stress free.
My friend was OVERJOYED when the cake was revealed (it was a cake with her face on it, as a 3D caricature) and absolutely flipped out.
You can tell how much care and attention Sarah puts into her cakes, they are so beautiful that it's almost (almost) a shame to eat them (but you should, because the one I ordered was just delicious). Thank you Sarah!!

Not only is Sarah very professional but she is also a ridiculously lovely person. You expect something amazing when you order your cake but you are always gob smacked when you pick up your cake. Sarah is so easy to work with when you require details specifics. Sarah has an incredible talent. Her attention to detail is amazing. I have ordered 4 cakes through her, each one better than the previous and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of time invested in every creation. I cannot speak highly enough of Sarah and Creative Cake Art. See you in October for another incredible cake. 😀😀😀

My wife and I found a beautiful cake design online and sent it to Sarah, and she made it perfectly and it became one of the centrepieces of our wedding, influencing the atmosphere of the event more than we anticipated. Everyone loved it. Not only was it beautiful, it was also extremely delicious. We knew how good it was when, even after multiple courses of food and full bellies, everyone ate multiple serves with joyful smiles. The cake still receives compliments months after our wedding.
On top of this Sarah was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I can’t speak highly enough of Sarah and her amazing cake art! I organised a Spider-Man cake as a surprise for my sons birthday, it unfortunately ending up falling this past weekend during the latest snap lockdown which meant Sarah was outside my 5km. She went above and beyond to organise a courier for me so the surprise could still happen! His party had to be cancelled but the excitement from receiving the amazing cake meant he didn’t even care!
The cake blew us all away, the detail and overall impact it made was impressive. It was exactly like the pictures I had sent and was huge! My son had no idea what the cake was going to be like I kept it a secret and when he saw it he got tears in his eyes and was totally speechless. I found the website whilst searching for "Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake Melbourne"... Little would I know that I was about to meet a fabulous artist and make such a great impact on my daughter's birthday party! Sent a message requesting a quote, got a reply asking for mobile to exchange text messages. From then on, everything was extremely easy. Sarah took the order a week before delivery, I picked it up from her place and that was it. You can see the master piece in the image, and I can add that the flavour (chocolate jaffa) was A M A Z I N G ! ! As someone else said before, PERFECT Cake, PERFECT Service!

I cant say how many times I called her to either asking many questions or changing the design of my cake; but, she always responded friendly and patiently. The cake I got was wonderful. By far the best I've seen. I found Sarah about 7 or 8 years ago when looking for someone to make my sons birthday cake. Prior to finding her I had been to an extensive amount of people, that claim they do the same thing. What I noticed was that nothing compares to the effort and detail Sarah puts in to her work.
Really, her work speaks for itself. Even if you were to look online today, and compare a character cake with anyone else's, you will see what I'm talking about. Sarah takes pride in what she does and this is why even though Sarah lives so far away from me now, I will only go to her. I wish I could put a picture on this review, of only one of the cakes that I got her to make for me.. you would be shocked at what she accomplished for me. From a picture to a reality 3D cake. The money I've spent on cakes over the years made by Sarah is well worth every penny.

I have used Sarah at Creative Cake Art for 3 different cakes. Our first was a very special one, our wedding cake. We wanted something very specific to us, a ski mountain and Sarah didn't shy away from what could be a difficult cake. The outcome was amazing and my husband and all our guests loved the unique and special looking cake. Sarah is super creative and used some of the photos we supplied but also discussed her plans with us and updated us on any new ideas or changes she felt needed to be made.
The second cake was surprise announcement cake for our first child, Sarah was fantastic and came up with something completely new. It was a fantastic small cake that looked like a birthday gift box on one side but had a babies head coming out the other, both our parents were truly surprised when we brought the birthday cake out to discover they were also going to be grandparents.
The third cake was for my brothers wedding, it was a gift from us to him as they weren't that keen on having a wedding cake at their informal wedding. The most special part for my husband and I had been the beautiful cake toppers Sarah had made of us and I really wanted this for my brother. I specified the design and for it not to be too much like a wedding cake, and the result was fantastic. My brother and new sister in law and all their guests loved it so much.
I would highly recommend Sarah at Creative Cake art for anyone looking to get something really different out of cake design service. The most important part for me is that Sarah really keeps you in the loop with her ideas and designs the most amazing cakes.
